Summary
Project Type: Branding + Identity | Course: Identity and Brand Design | Tools: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop | Timeframe: Nov. – Dec. 2022
Overview
I created these designs alongside my classmates Ashley Kim, Jude Jarrar, and Elli Lahdesmaki. As a group, we were tasked with developing an identity system for the 2023 Boston Art Book Fair. We developed a color palette that complements the brick interior of the Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts, in which the event took place. We also agreed that we wanted the aesthetic of the identity system to be dynamic and experimental, using linework and typography to push the idea of "books" into abstraction. My contributions to the brand identity are featured here; to view the contributions of my classmates and to see our full identity system, click here.
Note: This identity was created for a class assignment and will not be used by the Boston Center for the Arts' 2023 Art Book Fair.
