I am a soon-to-be graduate of the College of Arts, Media, and Design at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, expecting a BFA in Graphic and Information Design in May 2025. A lifelong Massachusetts resident, I grew up in the town of North Attleboro. I am 22 years old and have been designing for 7 years.
In my time at Northeastern, I’ve taken typography, graphic design, and time-based graphics classes, as well as multiple art and design history courses. My coursework has helped me grow my design skills and make decisions in my work that are informed and appropriate for the context around which I create them. My favorite aspect of design is branding and developing identity systems, however I find passion and excitement in any project that comes my way.
I have experience at The Boston Beer Company, where I worked full-time for six months as a Creative Services Co-op. I worked as a designer for Truly Hard Seltzer® and for BBC internal, where I created, printed, and distributed over 100 points of sale such as menus, poster, banners, one-way vision signs, among various others. Truly was undergoing a brand redesign when I started, so I had to learn both the old and new brand guidelines and know when to use which. Through my co-op at BBC, I have refined my design skills and improved my fluency in the Adobe Suite. I can confidently take command of complex projects and work within tight deadlines to produce high-quality work.
Additionally, I am a currently working as a Creative Media Assistant Co-op for Northeastern University's Khoury College of Computer Sciences. In this role, I collaborate with members of the college's communications department to design social media graphics and promotional media for college-hosted events, as well as serve as a primary photographer for Khoury College. I have grown significantly as a photographer through my co-op, photographing major events such as conferences and networking sessions with employers, as well as professional headshots for students and faculty in Khoury College. I have a keen eye for composition and color in my photographs—which also helps me to design attractive graphics. I have greatly enhanced my fluency in Adobe Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
My goal is to become a graphic designer and use my skills to share the stories and ideas of businesses, people, and communities. I strive to create brand identities with clear, consistent design systems with captivating, contemporary, client-centered design.
